ABOUT ARTIST
Tina Mohorović (1988, Slovenia) completed her studies at Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana, in 2012. In 2017, she finished post-graduate studies in the field of scenography at the Academy of Theatre, Film and Television, University of Ljubljana.
She works in the field of printmaking and scenography. Since 2018, printmaking and drawing are her main fields of artistic expression. In her works she connects the experience of designing physical space with other artistic practices and continues with an exploration of space within the medium of printmaking and drawing.
Among her more important solo exhibitions are Anonyms (2018, MGLC, Ljubljana) and Crossings (2020, GBJ Kostanjevica na Krki and Gallery Velenje).
Her works can be found in public collections, including the collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RS, Bogenšperk Castle, Gallery Božidar Jakac Kostanjevica na Krki, Gallery Velenje and in Alijo, Portugal.
She lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
ABOUT WORK
The work of Tina Mohorović is characterized by the exploration of space.
In printmaking works, she reflects on her understanding of the representation of space. She devotes herself to an in-depth exploration of the psychical space of the body and its imaginary dimensions through the thoughtful use of artistic expression.
